Leak testing is a diagnostic process used to detect cracks,deformation,or deterioration in the plastic engine cover and its seals.Our testing method begins with a simple visual inspection, followed by a smoke test;if that is passed,a powder-assisted test is conducted.The final safeguard is a UV dye inspection.
Thermal cycle testing is designed to simulate the real-world operating conditions of an engine,which involves repeated alternation between extreme heat and extreme cold.It tests the elastic recovery of the valve cover gasket,checks for thermal fatigue cracking in the valve cover,and evaluates warping and deformation.

Flatness control for plastic valve covers ensures the sealing performance of engine cylinder heads and prevents oil leaks.
We strictly maintain the flatness of our products within 0.3 mm to 0.5 mm,as this is typically a mandatory requirement under various standards and also ensures product quality.
Furthermore,if this range is exceeded,even replacing the expensive rubber gasket will not be sufficient to compensate for the gap between the sealing surfaces through bolt pressure,resulting in a risk of oil leakage when the assembly is heated.
